Ompelukone tädille-Sewing machine for auntie

Todellakin, Lupescun perheen Vera-täti sai kauan himoitun ompelukoneensa briteistä, ja kuuluu tällä hetkellä hienoimpiin esineisiin talossa:
In deed, auntie-Vera of the Lupescu family finally got herself a sewing machine from England.
At the moment it's one of the finest items of the house:

Kone kuuluu Vera-nuken lailla saksalaisen Heidi Ottin mallistoon, laatikot avautuvat ja poljin sekä pyörä toimivat, ihan kuin polkuompelukoneessa kuuluukin. Ompelurasian ostin HobbyPointista.
Pienet lankarullat on käsin tehty hammastikunpätkistä ja säikeiksi puretusta puuvillalangasta.
Hakaneulat vaatteiden hintamerkeistä. Sakset ostettu valmiina, ja leikkaavat ainakin paperia.

Sewing machine is from the Heidi Ott -collection like Vera originaly. Drawers of the sewing-desk can be opened, and the wheel turns if you pat the pedal, like it should in the sewing machine. The sewing box I bought from HobbyPoint. Little spools of string are made of toothpics and, well, string. Safety-pins are from some price-tags from various clothes. Scissors from HobbyPoint too, and they cut paper, atleast.

Lähikuva vielä tuosta neulatyynystä: Ompelin tyynyn käsin, ja täytin vanulla. Neulat on katkenneita koruomeluneuloja, joista mieheni ystävällisesti hioi minulle nuo silmäneulat. Nuppineulat tehty niistä kärkiosista, dippaamalla neulanpää kynsilakkaan.

Here's a close-up of the pin-cushion: I sewed it myself by hand, and stuffed it with cotton-wool. Needles and pins made of real needles, the ones broken by accident. The pins are just dipped into nailpolish.
